Richmond, TX – State Representative Jacey Jetton announces his bid for re-election to House District 26 in Fort Bend County. Jetton seeks re-election to build on the successes of the legislative sessions this year.
“The Texas Legislature took major steps to secure our elections, defend the border, promote religious liberty, and limit the role of government in our lives,” Jetton said. “Texans want safe communities, quality education, economic opportunities, and the freedom to make the right choices for their families. I am running for re-election to ensure we preserve this dream for future generations.”
Jetton serves on the Committees on Elections, Redistricting, Public Health, and the Select Committee on Constitutional Rights and Remedies. The House Republican Caucus elected him Freshman Legislator of the Year. He was instrumental in drafting and passing key legislation such as the Election Integrity omnibus bills, anti-human trafficking bills, legislation supporting law enforcement, parents’ rights in education, and more.
“The crisis on our southern border is one of the greatest threats to the future of Texas,” said Chairman Briscoe Cain. “We need leaders like my friend Jacey Jetton in the Texas Legislature to secure the border, continue the fight for election integrity, protect religious liberty, and keep Texas Red.”
“This year the Texas Legislature passed the most comprehensive election integrity legislation in the country,” said Senator Bryan Hughes. “Jacey Jetton was in the middle of the fight, making sure we passed a strong bill to secure and restore confidence in our elections. Texas needs leaders like Jacey who will fight for our elections, for life in the womb, and the conservative principles that make our state great.”
Jetton represents House District 26 in Fort Bend County. In the 2022 elections, this district will include areas including Cinco Ranch, Katy, Richmond, and Rosenberg. More information is available on his campaign website at JaceyJetton.com.
